BRAND HISTORY

In 1995, the founding CAFE Lighting company began by supplying a limited range of table lamps to national discount retail chains in high volumes. As part of this early success story, the iconic Espresso Touch Lamp was imported and distributed, eventually reaching sales past the $1 million mark.

The following ten years built upon this early success, expanding from touch lamps into chandeliers, pendants, and floor lamp ranges. Designer furniture and homewares came next, creating an umbrella of all-inclusive style for the commercial, wholesale, and trade markets. The new categories were reflected in a rebrand in 2004 when the company became what we know and love today: Cafe Lighting & Living.

The brand has morphed and grown tremendously over the past 25 years, thanks to its devotion to great style, and standout design. Based in Australia, the passionate team travels to gather inspiration from around the world, including destinations such as Italy, Paris, China, and India. Led by its founder Frank Laureti and the Laureti family, Cafe Lighting & Living delivers on-trend collections to satisfy the discerning Australian interior design market.

The enthusiastic team delivers a product launch every February and July at the Sydney and Melbourne Decor + Decoration and Gift Trade fairs. Their presentation includes a host of statement products and elaborate container displays. Cafe Lighting & Living was the proud winner of Best Stand for three years in a row at Decoration and Design Melbourne.
